MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2005 Mar 30 Observer(s): Pogge Institution(s): OSU Instrument: CCDS Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate, gusts 25mph NW End: Seeing 1.5+ arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate, gusts 30+mph NW Observing Summary: Clear, but gusty winds from the NW made windshake a problem for targets in that direction. All targets observed, but had to move NGC4593 ahead of NGC4151 until the latter got into a more favorable location relative to the prevailing wind. Took twilight sky spectra at dusk to get slit illumination corrections. Will likely repeat tomorrow night if conditions are good again. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2005 Mar 31 [4:35:46]
