Please join us each morning at 10:30am in the Astronomy Conference Room (4054 McPherson) for Astro Coffee.
Astro Coffee is an informal morning free-for-all where students, postdocs, and faculty debate up-to-the-minute astronomical developments, often starting from preprints posted on the astro-ph Astrophysics e-Print archive hosted by arXiv.org, or from recent colloquium or seminar talks. We even occasionally deconstruct astronomy articles that appear in the public press ("Our source was the New York Times"), and hear reports from those returning from meetings about what was new and exciting.
Start your day off right and join in the fun. Visitors are always welcome (and your first cup is free!).
Drinkers of other beverages, caffienated or otherwise, are always welcome.
