YALO Nightly Observing Report for 1999 Dec 3 Observer: Juan Espinoza Observed all night from 0020 to 0840 UTC. Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the summary for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Program completed. Rui: Yesterday I sent tapes to La Serena that included Portugal's data for the dates of Nov 3,4 and 5. Program target I08428-3657 has one huge star right on the middle of the chip. It definetly covers whatever is an object in the CCD field. I would imagine thaat this is not a problem for IR. Rene: den0255 was observed according to the Scripts that were sent but I noticed that the star that you did not want in the bad colunm is very near of it. I think the offsets helped a lot -- Please tell me if I should offset it a bit more -- IR looks great considering the great seeing we had tonight. ------------------------------ Submitted by Juan Espinoza on 1999 Dec 4 [3:40:15]
