No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Hello everyone, As described in the mail sent to Darren Charles and Rui, I could not log into Kepler and bring the everyday programmes (Prospero, Iraf etc). Jim Hughes was able to take a look at the machine quite late as he was busy in the stuff he had to do up here on the mountain. I'm really sorry for having lost the first observations of HD209458. I tried to do all I could to have the systems running on time but, as usual, there were things to be fixed everywhere. Ask Jim for details of what went wrong with Kepler. See logs for details (only the first two targets could not be observed) unfortunately!!!! No crashes or problems throughout the observing night. Juan, have a good turno. See you next week ate a vista, David ------------------------------ Submitted by David Gonzalez on 1999 Nov 30 [3:57:49]
