YALO Nightly Observing Report for 1999 Nov 31 Observer: David Gonzalez Observed last half of the night from 3:51 to UTC. Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Calm, we had snow during the morning until 2:00 pm local time Mid: Seeing 2.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 2.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Hello everyone and welcome to the new queu managers (bemvindos a os novos chefes!) I was not able to take calibrations in the afternoon as the telescope was covered with snow and so taking the mirror cover could have been risky. We had a late start because of high humidity that snow left us. Bad seeing throughout the night as you see in the report. Rui et al. I would appreciate to have a programme for tonight as early as possible for the reasons Charles gave you in his e-mail. No problems at all. See you tomorrow (in more healthy conditions I hope), David ------------------------------ Submitted by David Gonzalez on 1999 Nov 1 [4:06:46]
