YALO Nightly Observing Report for 1999 Oct 18 Observer: David Gonzalez Observed all night from 23:44 to 9:15 UTC. Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Differential magnitude of Aql X-1: R=2.735 V=0.16 I've been noticing a considerable better quality in images observed in the south e.g. 47Tuc Rene, you will get a box with tapes as usual but you WON'T get the CHILE_MAZA data as I could not tape them (the drive needs cleaning again, even though I had put a cleaning tape the night before). I have already asked Juan to make a tape and send it to you asap. The same with Dr. Lu's data. Regarding Dr. Rubinstein, I have already started copying images of 47Tuc in CTIO_RUBINSTEIN (obs. taken on 991018). Greetings to everyone, David ------------------------------ Submitted by David Gonzalez on 1999 Oct 19 [12:07:17]
