YALO Nightly Observing Report for 1999 Oct 24 Observer: Juan Espinoza Observed all night from 2345 to 0900 UTC. Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the summary for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Program not completed - SN1999eb for Chile-Maza and UM673 were not possible to observe since they were so close to Moon and after several attempts looking for a guiding star I found none. The rest of the program was completed with no complications. Aql magnitude in R band: 2.74 Mb99008, MB99022 and Aql X-1 in R band were observed without guiding because of guider palet switch failure wich caused thhhe guiding box on screen to move uncontrolably (these were guided manually with somewhat good results) ------------------------------ Submitted by Juan Espinoza on 1999 Oct 25 [5:04:25]
