YALO Nightly Observing Report for 1999 Oct 29 Observer: David Gonzalez Observed all night from 23:54 to 9:03 UTC. Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds High Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds High End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: Differential magnitude of Aql X-1: R=2.97 V=0.37 UM673 could not be observed because of high winds (33 mph) Despite the good seeing reported at the middle of the night, some images, particularly SN Minnie, recorded high values (wind did not cooperate again) You will see a bunch of exposures of SN in NGC 1637 (more than requested) as it was an odissey to integrate in the moments the telescope did not shake with the wind. The last sequence is the best though. See you tomorrow, David ------------------------------ Submitted by David Gonzalez on 1999 Oct 30 [5:22:49]
