YALO Nightly Observing Report for 1999 Sep 27

Observed all night from 2325 to 0930 UTC.
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds High
   Mid: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds High
   End: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds High

Observing Summary:


Program completed in the best way possible.

A night similar to yesterday - Lots of winds from beginning to end
wich caused lots of elongated images - As always - Depends on where
the telescope is pointing

Aql Magnitude in R band: 2.13

Also, again, Um673 was observed after 47Tuc and not before because
of winds - I understand that modifing the nightly program is not
something to do but with these conditions it is the only thing to do.

Lots of problems with A0620 -   No matter how far up I put the wind screen
the telescope oscilated like crazy.  So much I had to stop at some points.
I waited out for as long as I could - Cloed the dome fifthteen minutes
earlier - Went Home.
