YALO Telescope Observer's Report for 2000 Apr 24 Observer: Juan Espinoza Observed all night from 2315 to 1000 UTC. Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm, but hazy Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm, haze, clouds End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm, haze Observing Summary: Hello - Non-photom program completed (almost). -- At the beginning, although clear skies above, was very hazy and with a lot of clouds to the north wich eventually moved in at around 0530 UT. Again. Lots of problems observing Portugal targets; sn1999ao... no problems. nb-225, however, was observed once for 1200 sec. only to get an extremely elongated image due to light and variable winds but strong enough to not let me keep the telescope still (even with one great guiding star). I tried going back to it but it was no use, the telescope kept on oscillating. The rest of the other Portugal targets were observed with similar problems but accomplished anyhow. The rest of the program accomplished accordingly and I obtained CCD sky flats in both binnins - 2x2 & 1x1. Differential magnitude for Aql: 3.44 Magnitude of XTE in V band: 18.2 cheers and see you next week ------------------------------ Submitted by Juan Espinoza on 2000 Apr 25 [5:55:26]
