YALO Telescope Observer's Report for 2000 Aug 12

Observed for most of the night from 0110 to 0925 UTC.
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the summary for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds High
   Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds High
   End: Seeing 2.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds High

Observing Summary:


Late start due to clouds - Program mostly completed, although with lots
of elongated images (28mph winds for most of the night)

Some targets were not observed for being out of time and some because
were pointing directly into the winds making it impossible to keep
that darn tube still.. (e.i.; Aql, grs1915)

Nick Suntzeff's SN was observed at a different time than noted on the
program (waited for winds to calm down)

Typing error on first frame for Q2335-0045 (I wrote Q2335-431 by mistake)
