YALO Nightly Observing Report for 2000 Feb 25 Observer: Juan Espinoza Observed all night from 0015 to 0915 UTC. Conditions were Mixed most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the summary for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Program completed with some difficulties such as system crashes and bad seeing. I stoped observing at an earlier time due to a crash at the very end of the night. Yesterday, Paul Schmidtke mentioned me about a past experience he had had with the mirror shifting on it's cell at the 0.9m here at Tololo, and, as he explained it to me, it did just that. It shifts at the same time and position. Not so weird... Charles: I need to know what tapes I can reuse for I have runned out of MAZA backup tapes. cheers ------------------------------ Submitted by Juan Espinoza on 2000 Feb 26 [4:58:50]
