YALO Nightly Observing Report for 2000 Jan 23 Observer: David Gonzalez Observed all night from 00:36 to 09:27 UTC. Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Hello everyone wherever you are, OSU children, as described in my previous trouble report, the CCD-IR alignment problem persisted. However, I set new values for the IRtilts which are t1=1535 t2=2440 t3=2070, with this, I could zeropoint the telescope with a star centered on both detectors. I assume that this will be a temporary solution since the problem is still present, i.e. when I check the pointing of the telescope I need to reset the irtilt, but this time the operation works. Rui, I had to spent some time on the above tasks and thus I could not observe the three last targets of the programme. Rene, I'm sending you the following tapes with the 2 pm carry-all: YALO 2000_0111 - 2000-0122 5 tapes Well, see you tomorrow, David ------------------------------ Submitted by David Gonzalez on 19100 Jan 24 [15:38:15]
