YALO Telescope Observer's Report for 2000 Jul 14 Observer: juan Espinoza Observed for most of the night from 2300 to 0840 UTC. Conditions were Mixed most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the summary for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Hello - Tonight's program was completed in a different way.. Because of the moon beeing too close to some Ohio targets, ob2k031 and ob2k033 were not observed. The rest of ohio targets were observed very near the moon, but images were not saturated, so every other Ohio target was completed. An error in my part was to believe that ALL targets were TOO close to the moon, so I wasted about an hour -- I thought they were too close to la luna. VH band observations for ob2k026 were done at a later time (I skipped it at it's scheduled time). I asked Rick P. for an alternative program for Ohio, he didn't have one, but instead he gave me a list of Portugal targets that haven't been done but these were not observed. Instead I did yesterday's and today's Portugal targets with the exception of I18162-2048Y (waaay too close to the moon) Also. Although, above, I mention that it was clear, we did have a small patch of cirrus past by at around the time Portugal targets were first observed. NOTE: If the list of targets for Portugal haven't been done. They need to be observed at a much earlier time, for `at the end of the night' is too late.
