YALO Telescope Observer's Report for 2000 Mar 10 Observer: Juan Espinoza Observed all night from 0000 to 0955 UTC. Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the summary for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable, Haze, Humidity Mid: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate, Haze End: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: Hello -- I need to make a correction about Yesterday's weather: Once the night was over, a heavy mass of clouds appeared from the West but it did not cover the mountain until well after sunrise, however it is believed that small patches must've crossed our path at the end of the night. Portugal's program was done in photometric weather. (yesterday's) -------------------------------------------------------------------- Because of a crash I made an error of giving the wrong filename for IR images starting from ir000310.0001.fits to 0014.fits -- In the Logs they appear as CCD frames. I fixed and renamed all images so they will be OK now. Portugal target Im2d observed with the first I and K script only. The other two scripts were not used for reasons telescopes limits (too great of an airmass). Yale target 5921B observed twice due to elongation . Yale target X1608-52 observe twice in V band 'cause I forgot to bring down wind screen (ups!) S. Wachter targets were switched around because it was too windy to observe LBQS 1429-008 at that moment. This is all the music for today. Cheeeerrss ------------------------------ Submitted by Juan Espinoza on 2000 Mar 11 [5:43:11]
