YALO Telescope Observer's Report for 2000 Mar 13

Observed all night from 2355 to 0940 UTC.
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Hello --

An excellent night for observations.  Great seeing, great images.

And what's best, NO CRASHES !!!!!!!!!!! I love this kind of dance.

Portugal guys: We are having an extreme shortage of tapes to use
and we have been using all back up tapes that we can use and
I would like you to tell David what data (dates) has been safely
stored in your disks.  Right now we have data stored for Portugal from
25/08/99 to 24/01/00 (32 tapes) here at the console -- because of past
problems, I am not able to tell you what is in Yale and what is not.  But all
of it is here.

We use an average of 20 tapes a week and as it is right now we have none
to use for storing the nightly data.
