YALO Telescope Observer's Report for 2000 Oct 10 Observer: Kathy Vivas Observed all night from 0:15 to 9:45 UTC. Conditions were Mixed most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the summary for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm, Variable seeing Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Good night in general. A few clouds at the end of the night but low in the west horizon and didn't affect the observations. I couldn't finish the whole program. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to go faster since I now have some more experience. There was a couple of crashes including a bad one during the afternoon calibrations (IC didn't respond). I got Juan on the phone and he helped me to recover everything. I wasn't able to do 2mass2233, QJ0240, MB99018 and the second set of observations of Aql X-1. Also, there was time only to do the IH observations of A0620. Aql X-1: R=071 V=1.16 ------------------------------ Submitted by Kathy Vivas on 2000 Oct 11 [6:11:13]
