YALO Telescope Observer's Report for 2000 Oct 11 Observer: Kathy Vivas Observed all night from 0:00 to 9:30 UTC. Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the summary for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Fog/Low Clouds, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: I had the usual two crashes (one in the afternoon and one in the middle of the night). It was easy to recover and time lost was minimum. There was no time to do A0620 and the second observations of Aql X-1. The guiding star was lost during the observation of MB99018 and the objects are elongated in the image. Since it was almost full moon it was hard to find a guiding star for 2mass2223 and QJ0240-343. I found stars but the fields are not at the center of the CCD. Aql X-1: R=0.94; V=1.70 ------------------------------ Submitted by Kathy Vivas on 2000 Oct 12 [5:46:22]
