YALO Telescope Observer's Report for 2000 Sep 25 Observer: Jose Afonso/Juan Espinoza Observed all night from 23h55 to 09h47 UTC. Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Observing program mostly done: -Object OB2K031 not observed because it was already down after observing Aql X-1; -Object Q0108-0037 not observed due to the non-existence of a nearby guide star; -Objects Q0115-0127, Q0117-0135 and sdss0539 were not observed due to lack of time. Weather conditions were very good during the whole night. Object OB2K030 fell very near the bad column of the CCD. Sorry about that. For Aql X-1, the magnitudes were: beginning of the night, R-band: 2.10 beginning of the night, V-band: 0.48 around 23h30m LST, R-band: 2.20 The trimmed images for object J2310-43 were placed in the local directory /home/data/observer/ruiag_object/ and are ready to be ftp'ed. Run still made by Juan and Jose Afonso (last night). Tomorrow only Jose will be here, and hoping that the machines do not decide to crash very often... Juan has just left but he says he is completely relaxed about leaving me (Jose) here. He left me lots of telephone numbers, but I am sure he is not worried about anything (besides, I've brought a photographic camera just in case the telescope fails on me...)!
