YALO Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Mar 10 Observer: vasquez/bailyn/roye Observed all night from to UTC. Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: all night. Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Greetings from Charles, Erin & Joselino! First H-band lamp-on flat had the lamp on too high. So we did not include that one in the imcombine for H_ON. I'm going to work on some new IR calibration scripts which will do the right thing, and possibly also take flats in each dither position. At the end of the night, we did not do any of the targets in the queue after the QUEST targets. Instead we did some experiments in image quality - in particular we tried to do a good job with the Suntzeff SN, but it was not successful in the IR. We got CCD seeing of 1.2 ------------------------------ Submitted by vasquez/bailyn/roye on 2001 Mar 11 [4:37:15]
