B. Scott Gaudi

I am a Professor in the Department of Astronomy of the Ohio State Unversity in Columbus, Ohio. Previously, I was a Menzel postdoctoral fellow in the Theoretical Astrophysics Division of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, in the city of Cambridge, part of the greater metropolitan area of Boston, Massachusetts.

My first postdoc stint was as a Hubble Fellow and member of the Institute for Advanced Study, in Princeton, New Jersey. I did my graduate work right here in the Astronomy Department of the Ohio State University. I was an undergradute at Michigan State University, and I attended high school at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora, Illinois.

My research focuses on topics related to the search for extrasolar planets, as well as various topics in gravitational lensing. In addition, I have an indiscriminate interest in all areas of astronomy.
