Generic ICIMACS: The IC Initialization File *.INI

(ICIMACS = Instrument Control and Image Acquisition System


On startup, the IC program loads its defaults and saved values from the initialization file *.INI. The operation of the program can be changed in both trivial and profound ways by changing the values in the *.INI file.

The hash or pound sign "#" is the remark character; any line beginning with the remark character is ignored by the IC on startup.
