ICIMACS Startup Procedure:

If the external SCSI cable is connected between the IC and another computer, both computers should be started at the same time, or both machines may not be able to use their shared SCSI disk.

1) Check that the cables behind the IC correspond to their labels on the IC case

2) Turn on the IC (and any other computer connected to it). Make sure both of its monitors are on. Let it run until it reaches the DOS prompt, or the IC program starts. If you are at the DOS prompt, type WISE to start the WISE program. Wait until you get the WISE% prompt at the bottom of the screen.

3) There is now a row of status "lights" on the monochrome monitor, between the status window and the command window. You should see the following on the IC:

Ignore the blank spaces; they are not used with this instrument. If you get something else, check the trouble shooting procedures. The ultimate fix is simply to restart again.
