Quasars from z=0 to z=6: Demographics and Clustering as Clues to their Physical Nature
The Sloan Digital Sky Survey has now discovered over 100,000 quasars in a broad range of redshifts. I will discuss their clustering properties on large and small scales as a clue to their physical nature, and as a test of models in which quasar activity is triggered by the merger of massive galaxies. As time permits, I will also discuss the properties of obscured quasars in the SDSS sample.
