    PRIZES:


    i) 2017: Ceremony for the prizes. ii) 2019: Ceremony for the prizes, iii) Zher Samak, a graduate of M.Sc. from IUG, went to Cairo University for her Ph.D. in Physics at her own expensde and becase a student of mine.

  • Under a STEM scheme 14 annual prizes, 7 for the faculty members and 7 for students, have been established in the Departments of Biology, Mathematics, and Physics of Islamic University of Gaza (IUG)

  • 7 Prizess for the faculty members:

    - Distinction in research prizes (total 6):
    i) Biology (1), ii) Chemistry (1), iii) Engineering (2), iv) Mathematics (1), v) Physics (1)

    - Distinction in teaching prizes (total 1):
    i) Physics

  • 7 Prizes for students:

    - The best B.Sc. graduating students (total 6):
    i) Biology (1), ii) Chemistry (1), iii) Engineering (2), iv) Mathematics (1), v) Physics (1)

    - The best M.Sc. student (total 1):
    i) Physics

  • The Departments in Engineering are divided into two groups
    i) Civil, Environmental, Architecture
    ii) Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial
    such that each group will receive four prizes, 2 for faculty members and 2 for students, every other year


    OBJECTIVES:

  • The objective is to enhance academic excellence and research program in the Departments of Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics of IUG
