Training the Next Generation of STEM Faculty at Higher Education Institutions in India

The U.S. India Education Foundation has awarded a highly competitive grant under the Obama-Singh 21st Century Knowledge Initiative to the joint partnership between the Ohio State University (OSU) and the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) for "Training the Next Generation of STEM Faculty at Higher Education Institutions in India". OSU-AMU Pilot Project

As part of this program a two-year, dual-degree program has been established at OSU and AMU. Prospective candidates are advanced graduate students from AMU with research advisors at AMU and OSU. They will be enrolled in the MEd-STEM (India) program adminstered by the OSU Graduate School and the College of Education, with partcipating faculty from the College of Arts & Sciences and the College of Engineering.
