A High Precision Transit Survey of the Open
Cluster M37
Joel Hartman
Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics
I will describe a transit survey underway of the Open Cluster M37 using
the Megacam instrument on the 6.5m MMT telescope in Arizona, the goal is
to find hot transiting planets as small as Neptune. We have obtained
18.5 nights worth of images of this open cluster and are in the process
of analyzing the data. I will provide an overview of the project and
present some of our preliminary results.
