Cosmological Constraints from the maxBCG
Cluster Sample
Eduardo Rozo

Perhaps the single biggest question facing cosmology today is whether
dark energy is a cosmological constant or a new dynamical entity. One
way of differentiating between these two possibilities is to measure
how much have the cosmological density perturbations grown since the
formation of the cosmic microwave background. In this talk, I
introduce the maxBCG galaxy cluster catalog, and then use it to place
robust constraints on the amplitude of the universe inhomogeneities at
the present day. Future prospects for improvement will be briefly
discussed.
