Ireland - Summer 1994

*A colorful (colourful) town of Clarenbridge. Horse races in Galway.
* Crosses and phallic symbols(*) were abundant in ancient Ireland (this one in Clonmacnoise). * Another example, this time in Glendalough.
* Confession portal of a church in Clonmacnoise. *The same portal with Neil O Mahony and myself. Neil seems to enjoy my "confession".
* Ladies View near Killarney. * Muckross Gardens, also near Killarney, in the middle Bo and Neil.
* Bo and Neil at the edge of the Cliffs of Moher. *Cliffs of Moher offer an unforgettable view.
* Cliffs of Moher - another view. *St. Kevin's "Kitchen" in Glendalough.

(*) Neil O Mahony wrote me on July 30th, 1997:

"Phallic symbol! It's a bloody Round Tower, symbol of the C19th Gaelic League, Yeats and the Abbey Theatre, almost a National Symbol. You make it sound like we Irish are obsessed with sex! (well...could be true)"
