This world-wide web page is the focal point for the electronic coursework associated with Astronomy 350. Many of the homework assignments and lab work for this course will be handled using computers and the web, using the accounts setup for each student on the undergraduate study room's Linux workstations.
First Meeting The first day of classes for Autumn 2002 is Wednesday, Sept. 25. Since this is nominally a lab night, we'll use the first lab meeting as a general orientation and overview of the course, so we can then jump right in on Thursday. We will meet in McPherson 4045.
In general, all lab sessions will start with a brief meeting in MP 4045 before dispersing to wherever we are working that night (the Smith Lab Observatory or the computer room).
