The MDM/Ohio State Array Infrared Camera (MOSAIC) is a multi-purpose infrared imager & spectrometer built by the Ohio State University in collaboration with the MDM Consortium. It is designed to work primarily at the f/7.5 focus of the Hiltner 2.4-m telescope at 1-2.5 micron wavelengths, and uses a 512x1024 ALADDIN InSb array supplied by NOAO and USNO.
These links provide access to all online documentation related to the MOSAIC/TIFKAM Infrared Imager and Spectrometer as it is used at MDM. The first set are of most interest to general observers, while the second set is primarily intended for technical support personnel.
When writing papers based on data acquired with MOSAIC/TIFKAM at either MDM or KPNO, we ask that you include the following as part of your acknowledgement (in addition to acknowledging use of MDM or KPNO, as appropriate):
