  • Under a STEM scheme, there are 2 annual awards for the Teachers of the Year in Physics and 6 best students awards have been established at University of Kashmir

  • Teachers awards in Physics:
    i) The award is Distinction in Physics teaching
    ii) The Distinguished Research Advisor

  • Physics Student awards:
    i) Two annual awards for the best Ph.D. thesis of Muslim students
    ii) Two annual award for the best Muslim male and female students in M.Sc.
    ii) Two annual award for the best Muslim male and female students in B.Sc.

  • The proposal for the awards was approved by the university in December 2013



    OBJECTIVES:

  • The objective is to enhance STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathmatics) education and research program in Physics at the University
