ABDUR RAZZAQ & SHAMSUN NAHAR TRUST FOR EDUCATION (Established in 2003) 
Under a STEM education scheme, three annual teachers awards at the Central
Women's College were established in 2008

The proposal for the teachers awards was approved by the Principal and 
faculty members of the college in 2008
 
Central Women's College, in Hutkhola, Dhaka with students in the
11th and 12th years for Higher Scondary Certificates (HSC) and  undergrad
degrees is known for its efforts for better education. However, due to
economical conditions and of no educational environment of many students, 
this college has not been able to perform well, especially in science 
because of lack of hiring more teachers and resources.  
  
The students vote for the best teachers. Recipients of the maximum votes 
are nominated. The final decisions are based on the votes with 
recommendations from the College Principal, college committee, 
and Chair or Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees. Each teacher is
awarded with a certificate and an honorarium in a ceremony.

For better teaching motivation in class and learning inspiration, three 
annual teaching awards "Shamsun and S.N. Nahar Awards for the Best 
Teachers of the Year" under "Abdur Razzaq & Shamsun Nahar Trust for 
Education" were established in 2008 by Dr. Sultana N. Nahar under the
