    AWARDS:

    2014: 1) Student prize, 2) Partial audience,- 2017: 3) Faculty winners 2011-2017 in VC office

    There are two teacher awards and four student prizes in Physics under a STEM proposal:

    i) TEACHER OF THE YEAR IN PHYSICS
    ii) DISTINGUISHED TEACHER OF THE YEAR IN PHYSICS
    iii) BEST STUDENT Prizesi 1st, 2nd, 3rd, cumulative 4th year exams in B.Sc.Hons

    OBJECTIVES:

    1) 2008: Proposal submission to VC, 2) 2011: Meeting VC, 3) 2014: Meeting VC

  • These are two annual awards under a STEM program that aims in excellence and enhancement in in-class teaching and academis interactions and research publications in Physics.

  • The purpose of the awards is to recognize the teachers for the motivation and effort

    Physics Department celebrated its 50 years of establishment in 2018. Out of 50 years, Sultana N. Nahar has been part of it for 10, starti;ng a recognition program in 2008 with a visit of seminar, contribution of astronomy books, meeting students for Ph.D. applications in the US universities
