    PRIZES:

  • Under a STEM scheme, twelve are annual prizes in Biologican Sciences were established in 2017 at University of Kashmir, India. The program was revised in 2022.

  • 2022 REVISED PROGRAM:

  • There are 8 Departments under the Biological Sciences - Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Bioresoursces, Biotechnology, Botany, Clinical Biochemistry, Microbiology, Zoology.

  • 16 Faculty prizes are:

    - 8 Distinguished Teacher of the Year based on research publications and student guidance

    - 8 Distinguished Teacher of the Year based on teaching in class

  • 8 Student prizes are:

    - 8 best Ph.D. thesis by a student for research publications and academic excellence

  • 2017 program:

  • There are 6 Departments under the Biological Sciences - Biochemistry, Bioresoursces, Biotechnology, Botany, Clinical Biochemistry, Zoology.
    Each Department has 2 prizes, one for a faculty member and one for the Ph.D. student. 6 faculty prizes are:

    - 6 Distinguished Teacher of the Year based on research publications and teaching

    - 6 best Ph.D. student, combined merit for research publications and academic excellence, prizes


  • 2022: Meeting with members of 8 Departments and Dean of Biological sciences


    OBJECTIVES:

  • The objective is to enhance STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathmatics) education and research program in Biological Sciences at the University.
